Like mother like son

I had a pencil behind my ear the other day while I was on the computer.  Quess who had to have a pencil behind their ear as well?

Just hangin' out

I interupted Sammy while he was reading.  He was engrossed in a Harry Potter book.   He is a great kid and I love that he is learning to love reading.

Ross and friends!

Sleepy boy

So, Ross has decided that he is no longer going to take naps.  However, if he doesn't take a nap he is a beast from about 4:oo until bedtime.  Can you understand my horror and dismay at loosing the ever coveted nap time?  Wow!  I can't get him ready for bedtime fast enough.  I still put him down for "quiet time" and hope for a nap, but if he doesn't take a nap then I try to get into bed about an hour earlier than usual (which is becoming more difficult thanks to daylight savings. It doesn't even get dark until about 7:30.  Good times!)   I was trying to get dinner ready the other day so I could get Ross into bed early because he had not had a nap.  Sam put in a bike video to entertain him while I was cooking.  His favorite spot is at the end of the couch closest to the TV.  One minute he was enjoying the video the next he was slumped over the armrest passed out.  Poor baby was so tired he could not hold his head up.  I couldn't resist.  I had Sam get some pictures.

I had Sam try to wake him up because he hadn't had dinner yet.  I had to try to feed him before I put him to bed, but he just kept falling asleep.  Isn't that cute?  I just love those cheeks!

Just for the record I did eventually get him to wake-up enough to eat dinner.  Then he went straight to bed and promptly fell asleep.

The Davis Brothers Band

Ross got into Sammy's room the other day(a nine year old's room is like Disneyland to a two year old) and Sammy gave him a couple of harmonicas to play with.  It was the cutest thing and he sounded pretty good too, especially for a two year old.

Here is the Davis Brothers Band performing on their harmonicas.

Here is Ross' solo performance.
